I am very impressed with the service and care from all personal at Oakmont Advanced Dentistry. From the moment I entered the office for my 6-month cleaning/exam, I was greeted by friendly receptionist, and then taken to exam room by technician, who was very pleasant. She explained what she was going to do (X-rays) and was very careful while doing so. The hygienist was excellent! She was so careful and meticulous with cleaning, being careful not to damage the gum tissue. I met the dentist who was most welcoming and did a great exam, and made recommendations and explained them. When I left, all office staff in front were so nice, and I told them how impressed I was with the way the office was run. Highly recommend!
You’ve heard the phrase, “New Year, New You” many times. There’s a good reason people see the changing of the calendar as a time of renewal, of opportunity, and as a reason to make improvements.

Bring Back Your Healthy Smile
When all your teeth were healthy and strong, you could eat anything you wanted. Today, you may find it painful to bite or chew if you have tooth decay or an infected tooth. If you are missing teeth, eating a balanced diet can be an even bigger challenge.
We could point to studies to support this, but you already know that if you can’t eat a variety of foods, it can affect your overall health. In other words, leaving your mouth unfixed is not good for your oral or your overall health.
When you aren’t healthy, you might find it hard to get motivated to go to the gym, do yard work, or just play with your children or grandchildren. In contrast, if you can and are eating healthy foods, you are giving your body the fuel it needs to do the things you want to do.
We aren’t saying that fixing or replacing your teeth will turn you into a world-class athlete, but it can be an important part of the process of becoming a better version of yourself.
In modern dentistry, restorative treatments also look more natural than ever before. Having a complete, realistic smile can do wonders for your self-confidence. We’ve seen it happen more times than we can count. Patients who were once embarrassed to let anyone see their teeth now hold their heads high and laugh without worry when they visit us.
Ways You Could Make a Change
What restorative treatments is right for you will depend on the specific issues you need to fix. The good news is that our team can help with a wide variety of options:
• Tooth Fillings — The most basic restorative option is a dental filling. If you have a cavity (and more than 90 percent of people will), then you need a tooth-colored composite filling to rebuild your tooth’s function along with your smile.
• Root Canals — For someone with an infected tooth, you can have a root canal treatment at our practice. Our sedation options can help you remain anxiety-free and pain-free during your procedure.
• Dental Crowns & Bridges — If you need to repair or replace missing teeth, we offer CEREC technology, which can complete your smile in as little as one visit.
• Dental Implants — If you are missing teeth, you need to replace the parts you can see and the parts that you can’t. Implants take the place of missing roots, which makes your others restorations stronger and more stable.
